Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Social Media Manager & Content Creator located in Baku. The Social Media Manager & Content Creator will be responsible for managing social media accounts, creating content and developing content strategies, and communicating with the target audience.
Location: Baku, Azerbaijan
Responsibilities:
- Manage social media accounts/pages for clients, including moderating comments and engaging with the audience.
- Create a monthly content plan for clients’ social media platforms, ensuring a strategic and cohesive approach to content distribution.
- Provide clear briefs to the design team, translating conceptual ideas into actionable design elements.
- Generate innovative concepts and project ideas based on client needs and briefs for their digital platforms.
- Develop engaging written content for various digital platforms, including website copy, social media posts, ad copies (Google Search Ads, Meta Ads, etc.), email marketing, and more.
- Craft short, digital-oriented video scripts tailored for TikTok & Instagram channels.
- Collaborate with the Digital Marketing team to seamlessly integrate written content into overarching digital marketing campaigns.
- Ensure consistency in messaging, tone, and brand voice across all written digital content, adhering to clients’ brand guidelines.
- Utilize data and analytics insights to inform content creation decisions, adapting strategies for optimal audience engagement.
- Work closely with the Digital Marketing & Production teams (in-house or 3rd parties) to align written content with overarching marketing strategies and goals.
- Bring innovative approaches to copywriting, ensuring that written content remains fresh, relevant, and impactful.
- Adapt writing style and tone to suit different digital platforms and target audiences.
- Collaborate on content distribution strategies, ensuring written content is effectively delivered across digital channels.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and emerging content formats to continuously improve the quality and impact of written content.
Requirements:
- Perfect command of Azerbaijani. Knowledge of English is a must, as we partner with foreign clients as well, and knowledge of Russian is desirable.
- Proven experience (minimum 2 years) as an SMM / Content Creator within a creative agency or client-side (agency experience is preferable), with a focus on creative marketing content.
- Strong portfolio showcasing diverse written content across digital platforms.
- Creative and strategic thinking in copywriting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Adaptability in tailoring content for different digital platforms and audiences.
- Collaboration and communication skills within a digital marketing & other internal teams.
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 09:30-18:30 every day.
