Job Summary: 

We are looking for a qualified Software Quality Assurance Specialist to assess software quality through manual and automated testing. You will be responsible for finding and reporting bugs and glitches.

QA engineer responsibilities include designing and implementing tests, debugging, and defining corrective actions. You will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics (e.g., defect densities and open defect counts.)

Our ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs, while being cost-effective. Ultimately, you should monitor all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards.

With plans to expand the team size you will be able to join at an early stage and make a real mark in the business. You will play a crucial role in the company adding exciting new features to their product.

Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts
• Test that the sprint goal meets the accepting criteria until the end
• Calculate the effect of test cases on estimation in grooming and planning sessions
• Create logs to document testing phases and defects
• Help troubleshoot issues
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
• Track defects from discovery to resolution

Qualifications required:

• 2 years of experience as a Software Quality Assurance Specialist or similar role
• Experience with a variety of different testing techniques
• Knowledge of QA concepts, tools (e.g., Cypress), and methodology
• Experience with coding using any programming languages is advantage
• Agile Scrum methodologies experience is advantage
