Position Summary:

• 2 years minimum of MySQL DBA experience.

Responsibilities:

• Deep understanding of Database tuning: INNODB stats, correlating it with OS and storage.
• Deep technical expertise on Mysql partitioning, configuring the data files and log files for optimal performance.
• Expertise in upgrade to Enterprise Mysql 5.5.27.
• HA level expertise on Load balancer and proxy usage.
• Hand on backup and recovery for databases.
• Good understanding of VM.
• Develop and support MySQL database replication.
• Monitor and optimize MySQL database performance and capacity planning.
• Troubleshoot database issues, maintain database systems availability and scalability.

Requirements:

• Min 2 years of experience as a DBA or equivalent.
• Certified MySQL DBA is a PLUS.
• Demonstrated experience with MySQL database design, implementation, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
• Managing large scale database system is a PLUS.
• Demonstrated experience with Open Source/Linux development and production environment.
• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or Information Technology.
• Possess creative ability, credibility, self-confidence and Independent.
• Good team player with strong analytical, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
• Able to work under pressure and multi-tasking capabilities.
