Purpose of Role:

The Supply Chain Planning & Forecasting Manager contributes by optimally serving demand and enabling profitable sales growth across markets and channels by driving and providing input to store buying process.  The role will provide top-down input to store demand planning, based on a supply perspective.  The role will run rolling follow ups of stock level forecast and buying with all stake holders (in region and in business units).  The role will set stock management strategies, e.g. sale and rolling stock management actions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise production & material planning team.
• Oversee daily activities of the team and provide guidance as needed.
• Work with management, inventory, supply chain and sales teams in planning operations.
• Identify demand forecast risks and develop effective mitigation plans.
• Develop a demand plan based on business trends and demand patterns.
• Analyze and troubleshoot demand-related issues in a timely and accurate manner.
• Develop annual budgets and cost-effectiveness initiatives.
• Maintain training materials and organize training for team members.
• Follow and enforce company rules and regulations.
• Develop routine demand related reports for management.
• Schedule forecast review meetings with management on a regular basis.
• Maintain demand planning processes to improve forecast accuracy.
• Work with team to plan, coordinate and execute demand planning activities.
• Update forecasts for new products, seasonal products, discounts, promotions.
• Coordinate with the inventory team to monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels

Requirements to candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree or any equivalent professional qualification.
• Certification in Supply Chain Management is preferable.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in the similar role in fast-paced manufacturing organizations.
• Ability to interact with different levels of management.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Ability to operate in a cross-departmental multicultural environment.
• A self-motivated person who displays initiative and creativity in problem-solving.
• A positive attitude with a proactive approach.
• Good time management skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong change management capabilities using influencing and conflict resolution abilities.
• Must be able to demonstrate strong leadership, people management & influencing skills.
