Supply Chain Specialist

Job Role Responsibilities:

• Placing orders to suppliers according specification provided by sales department;
• Verify specification against compliance rules to ensure all required information is provided;
• Ensure successful order placement to supplier;
• Monitor order status on daily basis;
• Take proactive actions to promote order in the best interest of the company;
• Expedite order in case if forecasted delivery dates are being delayed;
• Notify related sales person if order specification is being revised by the supplier;
• Check shipping documents provided by vendor against order specification;
• Instruct assigned freight forwarder to pick up / ship goods to destination;
• Submit insurance application to insurance company;
• Update order status in corporate system;
• Ensure timely arrival of delivery to destination;
• Furnish reports to suppliers based on established formats;
• Handling return of the goods  to supplier;
• Adhere to corporate order placement rules;
• Support colleague with duties back-up when required;

Requirements:

• Higher education, preferred in logistics, economics
• Fluently speak in Russian and Azeri, English
• Experience in supply chain processes (1-2 years min);
• Experience in freight forwarding (1-2 years min);
• Understanding of freight forwarding documents preparation;
• Good knowledge of Incoterms;
