Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting daily problems on servers;
- Creating, configure and manage servers;
- Installing package and patches or updating the system;
- Creating redundant system with clustering;
- Configure monitoring systems on servers;
- Creating new users and groups and managing permissions;
- Configure servers work with other systems.
Knowledge:
- At least 3 years of experience in a technical role with increasing responsibility;
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science preferred or equivalent relevant work experience and/or hardware/software certification(s);
- Thorough understanding of Microsoft applications/infrastructure;
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff and clients;
- Strong documentation/reporting skills;
- Good analytical/troubleshooting and organizational skills;
- Capable of resolving critical software and hardware issues in a time sensitive manner, cognizant of requisite service levels;
- Must be fluent with Windows, networking, advanced desktop support, and have significant work experience or certifications in the following;
- Language knowledge: English – intermediate; Russian – intermediate, Azeri – fluent.
Skills:
- Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent work experience;
- Working with SAN, Samba, NFS;
- Configuring DNS, DHCP, Failover Cluster, File Server, NLB cluster, Group Policy Management,
- Automation processes with bash or python scripts would be a plus;
- Experience in administration of monitoring systems (Zabbix, Nagios);
- Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019 knowledge;
- Microsoft SCCM knowledge (packaging, image deployment, etc);
- Experience in administration of virtualized systems (VMWare, AHV);
- Experience in administration of PKI infrastructure;
- MS O365 administration experience;
- MS Azure knowledge;
- Knowledge of backup solutions and principles;
- Antivirus administration experience;
- Linux knowledge would be a plus.
