Tax Specialist

What are expected from the candidate:

• To prepare and submit monthly, quarterly and annual tax statements and reports to the State Tax Service;
• To liaise with the Azerbaijan Tax Office and other regulatory bodies;
• To monitor the level of compliance with the statutory tax legislation;
• To arrange tax planning and optimization issues;
• To assist Line Manager to deal with Tax Emergency cases;
• To arrange regular communication with the accounting department as well as other departments for performance of job duties;
• To assist with arrangement of tax planning and optimization issues;
• To perform other tasks as required.

What qualifications the candidate need to possess:

• High education in Finance and Accounting;
• Professional qualifications are an advantage (such as ACCA, CIMA, DipIFR)
• A minimum of 4 years experience as a tax accountant or similar role;
• Strong knowledge of tax law and statutory regulations;
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills;
• Advanced Excel is a must;
• Fluent in Azerbaijani, English and Russian languages;
